Although running a school/learning center is A LOT of work, all is possible through Him.

New Playground
February 2025
They did it!!!! Our wonderful volunteers created a fun and engaging playground using mostly natural materials which are not only exciting for the kids, but handsomely blend in with our beautiful scenery.

The Lord God is good- all of the time.
Our students are richly blessed the 24/25 school year with an elder to come weekly to teach Bible class.
We also have three back up Dyadya’s ready to step in when needed.

We were thankful to find someone to work several hours a week doing behind the scenes stuff for the 24/25 school year
Leah Berokoff will be organizing the nitty gritty. She will be off site for now handling the details needed for things to run smoothly.

New
We are delighted to welcome newlywed, Sada Steve (Desatoff) Orloff to the classroom for the 24/25 school year.
She comes to us willing and eager to help Ts Ira run the classroom. She is instrumental in setting up gradebooks for the students and helping to get the classroom ready for our students. She will be a critical help in guiding the multi-level schoolroom. We warmly welcome her!

May He stay with us while work is done to shape these kids not in the way of the world, but as our forefathers . . . resilient, ingenuitive, present, and with a focus primarily on faith and family, as it should be.

Its GO TIME!!
During August there is A LOT of work to be done at the schoolhouse property:
~ A running track will be cut and filled
~ Natural play elements installed
~ New fence installed

Volunteers may be needed, so if you know how to operate equipment, a shovel or even just your hands ;-) please join us!

This includes a neighbor who literally fell and cut up a tree for us to use, as well as a member of the Evens Valley Community Center who graciously offered to donate and deliver gravel, and our own community members who have continued to provide specialty services such as septic work, equipment operation, landscape design and fence building. You know who you are and this project couldn't happen without you!!!

An amazing donor once again stepped up to cover the rent of the schoolhouse through the 2023/2024 School Year!

There has been SO MUCH support by Parents and especially Grandparents who see this venture as not only necessary but VITAL.

We are SO VERY GRATEFUL to each who have provided support financially, by "malitve", and by physical efforts!!!

November 2022
It seems like we are thankfully just along for the ride in this entire process. Just after the initial "savet" for the new school concluded, amazingly availability of a building just opened right up to us. Shortly after that, we received a donation to cover the rent entirely until summer!!!

Update: Jan 2023 . . . we have now been using the building regularly for board meetings and started filling it with classroom furniture. He is good!!!

January 2023
Ask and you shall receive!
VERY shortly after it was recommended (during consult with a teacher), to begin the school year with "two kidney shaped tables", a private school reached out to offer us none other than exactly TWO kidney shaped tables. Volunteers picked up those along with many desks and student chairs of varying sizes. Although we offered to provide compensation for the used but quality haul, all of these furniture pieces were donated in their entirety. Thousands of dollars' worth, outright given by a community with no ties to our own. Amazing!
